Job summary

Stevens Creek BMW, part of Sonic Automotive, in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking an entry-level Service Porter to support the Service Department. You will help move, prepare, and present vehicles while delivering friendly customer service.

The role involves driving vehicles safely, keeping lanes clean, and assisting technicians as needed. The position is full-time, with Monday through Saturday shifts and Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with directing vehicles to designated service areas.
• Transport customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the service drive, parking lot, and dealership property.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of service lanes, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds.
• Assist service advisors and technicians by locating, staging, and delivering vehicles as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle preparation tasks, including washing, vacuuming, fueling, and inspecting vehicles prior to customer delivery.
• Monitor lot organization and ensure vehicles are parked in designated locations to maximize operational efficiency.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures while providing professional and courteous customer service.
