Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter to support the maintenance and service of vehicles. The role involves assisting with write-ups, tagging cars, inspecting and transporting units, and keeping the lot orderly.

You will handle deliveries, clean vehicles, and assist with shop duties in a fast-paced dealership environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6–12 months of experience preferred, and a valid driver's license with the ability to drive manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags before returning vehicles.

• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Perform deliveries as required.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles and keep lot neat.
• Return keys to the service consultant and move vehicles as directed.
• Test batteries and assist with shop clean-up and deliveries.
