Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter to support the service team in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will assist with write-ups and tagging, inspect vehicles before delivery, and help maintain an organized lot and clean interiors of vehicles.

This role involves customer and staff transportation as needed, plus keeping track of keys and supplies. Applicants should have a High School Diploma, 6–12 months of experience, a valid driver’s license, and good communication and customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of previous work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant.
