Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter in Jacksonville, FL to assist with service write-ups, tagging customer vehicles, and keeping the lot organized. You will inspect returned vehicles for damage, transport customers and staff, and support deliveries as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver's license. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus and safety awareness is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of previous work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning to customer.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Perform deliveries as required.
• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and return keys to service consultant.
• Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive.
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed.
