Job summary

Swickard Honda of Thousand Oaks is seeking an entry-level Service Porter to support the service drive and vehicle movement. No automotive experience is necessary, and we provide on-the-job training to help you grow into future roles within the dealership.

As a valued member of our team, you will greet guests, maintain vehicle presentation, and assist technicians to keep service flow moving efficiently. A strong hospitality mindset and reliable, energetic attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required; training provided from day one.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to stand and stay active during shifts; physical role.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage vehicles between lot locations, service bays, and the service drive.
• Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly, professional presence.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department.
• Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean and ready for guests.
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement to keep workflow smooth.
• Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed to support delivery readiness.
• Support the service team with general tasks to keep the department operating at full speed.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage vehicles between lot locations, service bays, and the service drive -- safely, efficiently, and with care for every vehicle in your hands
• Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly, professional presence -- you're often the first face they see
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department -- every car returned to a guest should leave in better condition than it arrived
• Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and staging to keep the workflow moving without delays
• Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed to support delivery readiness
• Support the service team with general tasks that keep the department operating at full speed

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required -- we will train the right person from day one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
• Able to remain on your feet and stay active throughout your shift -- this is a physical, on-the-go role
