Swickard Honda of Gladstone is seeking an Express Service Advisor who thrives in guest-facing roles. From hospitality or retail backgrounds, you will greet guests, write repair orders for express services, and coordinate with technicians for fast, accurate service.

You will explain findings clearly and help guests make informed decisions. No automotive experience is required, and training is provided to build skills toward a full service writing career.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on the express drive with a warm, professional presence.
• Write repair orders for express services (oil changes, rotations, inspections).
• Communicate service findings and recommendations clearly to guests.
• Manage guest flow, coordinating with technicians to keep vehicles moving.
• Follow up with guests on vehicle status and timing.
• Upsell additional maintenance and repairs as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate repair orders in the system and ensure compliance.
• Support the team during peak periods to keep the drive running smoothly.

The Express Service Advisor is the person who makes that impression count -- greeting guests, moving them through the process efficiently, and representing our hospitality standard at every touchpoint. What you'll do

• Greet guests on the express drive with a warm, professional presence -- setting the tone for a fast, respectful service experience
• Write repair orders for express services -- oil changes, tire rotations, filters, fluid top-offs, and multi-point inspections
• Communicate service findings and recommendations to guests clearly and confidently -- earning trust and supporting informed decisions
• Manage guest flow on the express drive -- coordinating with technicians to keep vehicles moving and wait times accurate
• Follow up with guests on vehicle status and delivery timing -- no one should have to wonder where their car is
• Upsell additional maintenance and repair services recommended during the multi-point inspection process
• Maintain accurate repair order documentation in the DMS and uphold all compliance standards
• Support the service team during peak volume periods -- stepping in where needed to keep the drive running smoothly

What we're looking for

• No automotive experience required -- hospitality, sales, retail, or customer service backgrounds are strongly preferred
• Fast on your feet and comfortable managing multiple guests simultaneously without losing composure or detail
• Clear, confident communicator -- in person, on the phone, and on paper
• Organized and accurate -- repair orders and guest updates need to be right every time
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to serve people well and grow your earnings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset -- you treat every guest like they matter, because they do
