Job summary

Chula Vista Honda, part of Kaizen Automotive Group in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Service Porter to support the dealership service department and vehicle flow. You will greet customers, move vehicles, assist technicians, and help maintain a safe, organized service drive.

The role is outdoors, fast-paced and requires a clean driving record and reliable, professional conduct. This entry-level position offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities for development within Kaizen's family of

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake.
• Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds.
• Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition.
• Support shuttle service operations when required.
• Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling.
• Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.

Position Summary

The ServicePorter supports the daily operations of the OEMdealership’sservice department by ensuring efficient vehicle flow and providingan exceptionalcustomer experience. This roleis responsible formoving, organizing, andmaintainingvehicles in a safe and professional manner whileassistingthe service team with various tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
