Job summary

Chula Vista Honda, part of Kaizen Automotive Group in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Service Porter to support the dealership service department and vehicle flow. You will greet customers, move vehicles, assist technicians, and help maintain a safe, organized service drive.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake.
  • Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely and efficiently.
  • Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds.
  • Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition.
  • Support shuttle service operations when required.
  • Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling.
  • Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.

Position Summary

The ServicePorter supports the daily operations of the OEMdealership’sservice department by ensuring efficient vehicle flow and providingan exceptionalcustomer experience.
