Job summary

Toyota of Cedar Park in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Service Porter to support the service team. The porter moves vehicles on the lot, retrieves vehicles for advisors, and keeps the service drive and delivery area clean and organized.

Duties include washing and vacuuming, basic maintenance such as inflating tires, topping fluids, installing license plates, and assisting managers, advisors, technicians, and the Loaner department. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

Toyota of Cedar Park is looking for a Service Porter to join our team.

Summary

The porter assists with lot activity in moving of vehicles as well as maintaining a clean and tidy service drive and delivery area. The Porters primarily move vehicles around the dealership lot, retrieve vehicles for advisors, and minor vehicle services.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous porter/courier/valet/ stocking/warehouse/driving experience helpful
• High level of dependability and confidentiality
• 4 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED

Work Environment

This job operates in various types of vehicles and business environments that may include loud noises, odors or weather conditions. Driving is mostly during the day but could be required to drive in low light conditions.

Physical Demands

Safely drive a variety of vehicles in inclement weather or road conditions. Adhere to established motor vehicle rules and laws. May sit, walk or stand for long periods of time in all weather and temperature conditions. Repetitive use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, hearing, seeing and talking.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. We run a 5-day work week. Days and hours of work are typically an 8.5 hour shift given during the week between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a mandatory Saturday shift between 7am and 5pm. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position may require travel to extended areas.
