CDL is required; excellent safety and organizational skills are essential for daily operations. Competitive pay at $28–$34 per hour, DOE, with benefits including health coverage, 401k, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles back to customer sites.
• Road test customer vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, service shop, parking lot, and grounds.
• Remove trash, cardboard, pallets, scrap materials, and debris from the property.
• Assist with basic building and grounds maintenance.
• Move and stage vehicles and equipment around the lot and service areas.
• Support technicians and service personnel with general shop tasks.
• Deliver parts and supplies as needed.
• Monitor facility for safety and report concerns to management.
• Maintain a safe, professional working environment for employees and customers.
• Operate company equipment and vehicles safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Service Porter

Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Service Porter. This position is focused on supporting the daily operations of the branch by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility and lot environment. The Service Porter will assist multiple departments as needed while helping ensure the property, grounds, and work areas are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving commercial vehicles back to customer sites
• Road test customer vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, service shop, parking lot, and surrounding grounds
• Remove trash, cardboard, pallets, scrap materials, and other debris from the property
• Assist with basic building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Move, organize, and stage vehicles and equipment throughout the lot and service areas
• Support technicians and service personnel with general shop assistance
• Perform pickup and delivery of parts, supplies, and other company-related items as neededMonitor the facility and report any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management
• Assist with maintaining a safe and professional working environment for employees and customers
• Operate company equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and machinery
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
