Job summary

A-Comfort Service is hiring a plumber in Pittsburgh. You will perform inspections, offer upgrade options, and repair drainage, fixtures, and water lines. Join a team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential service plumbing experience
• Journeyman license preferred
• ServiceTitan experience a plus
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically capable to work in awkward spaces

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive plumbing inspections and propose upgrade options
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, faucets and fixtures
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines
• Read blueprints to plan plumbing and DWV layouts
• Cut, assemble and install pipes with regard for existing infrastructure
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Repair domestic appliances and fixtures
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with functional DWV

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive plumbing inspections for customers. Offer upgrade options based on plumbing inspections findings.
• Repairing or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Locating and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Cutting , assembling and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
• Installing and maintaining water supply systems
• Repairing domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
• Installing waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems

Skills and Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of Residential Service Plumbing experience
• Journeyman License is a Plus
• Service Titan experience a plus
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
