You will work independently, communicate clearly with homeowners, explain options, and represent the company professionally in the field. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues including leaks, clogs and water heaters.
• Install, replace, and service fixtures, toilets, sump pumps, and water heaters.
• Perform drain clearing and basic sewer/water line troubleshooting.
• Read work orders, assess conditions, and complete jobs safely.
• Communicate findings and pricing/options to homeowners.
• Maintain a clean work area and protect the customer's home.
• Document service notes, invoices, and job closeout information.
• Follow plumbing codes, company standards, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle cleanliness, and inventory.
• Work both independently and as part of a team; assist as needed.

We are looking to hire an additional Residential Service Plumber to join the team. This is a great shop that has a long history of doing good work and taking care of its employees and its customers. We are a 100% plumber and family owned company and looking for plumbers that want serve customers fairly.

The Residential Plumber will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain plumbing systems in occupied homes, remodels, and residential service environments. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, communicating with homeowners, explaining options, and representing the company professionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, fixture problems, water heaters, sump pumps, drain lines, water lines, and related systems.
• Install, replace, and service fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, sump pumps, softeners, and other residential plumbing components.
• Perform drain clearing, basic sewer/water line troubleshooting, and general residential service work.
• Read work orders, assess job conditions, identify required materials, and complete assigned jobs efficiently and safely.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, recommended repairs, pricing/options, and next steps.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect the customer's home while work is being performed.
• Complete accurate documentation, service notes, photos, invoices, and job closeout information.
• Follow all plumbing codes, company standards, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle cleanliness, and inventory as assigned.
• Work as part of a team while also being able to manage service calls independently.
• Offer customers service options (No hardcore sales tactics)

Required Qualifications

• Residential plumbing service experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across common residential plumbing systems.
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
• Valid driver's license and clean/reliable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and any required employment screening.
• Ability to lift, carry, kneel, crawl, work in tight spaces, and safely perform physical plumbing work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with water heaters, tankless systems, sump pumps, water treatment, drain cleaning, and sewer/water line repair.
• Experience using tablets, service software, or digital invoicing/job documentation.
• Backflow, boiler, gas piping, or additional trade certifications are a plus.

Schedule

• Operating hours 8am to 4:30pm
• Afterhours rotation

• Base Salary Range $35-45/hr
