Job summary

Corum Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Lee’s Summit is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work independently or with a team while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong plumbing skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to educate customers on maintenance and repair options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to explain plumbing solutions in simple terms to customers.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license and availability for on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems (water supply lines, drains, fixtures, water heaters).
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance for efficiency and code compliance.
• Provide accurate estimates and explain repair options, costs, and benefits to customers.
• Educate customers on system maintenance and best practices for long-term reliability.
• Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and clear communication.
• Complete job reports, invoices, and documentation accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
• Keep company vehicle and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will also have a genuine enjoyment of helping and educating customers about their plumbing. This position involves working independently or as part of a team to perform residential and/or commercial plumbing services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems (water supply lines, drains, faucets, toilets, water heaters, etc.)
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and code compliance
• Provide accurate estimates and explain repair options, costs, and benefits to customers

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Enjoys interacting with customer and explaining plumbing solutions in an easy-to-understand way
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform manual labor
• Valid driver's license
