Job summary

MAHLE in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a hands-on supervisor to manage daily production workflows and ensure on-time delivery for domestic and export shipments. You will coordinate with group leaders, SAP coordinators, and customer service to prioritize orders and meet KPI targets.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong problem-solving skills, reliable attendance, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience is preferred.

• Excellent attendance and safety record.
• Intermediate computer skills, especially MS Office.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign work and maintain workflow for domestic and export shipments.
• Monitor reports on orders and warehouse tasks; coordinate with leaders and SAP.
• Complete corrective action requests timely.
• Perform daily 5S housekeeping and area cleanup.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; conduct monthly Safety Observation Tours.
• Maintain employee records for attendance and production performance.
• Handle shift handoffs, including equipment status and overtime plans.
• Oversee packaging and shipment of engines and components per production orders.
• Report metrics daily on local boards and KPI actions.
• Implement ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Job description

Your Contribution

• Assign work and maintain workflow at optimum levels for domestic and export shipments.
• Monitor reports for old orders, incomplete warehouse tasks, and goods issue not complete. Prioritize and coordinate with group leaders, SAP Coordinators, and customer service reps to schedule customer orders to meet delivery and productivity requirements.
• Timely completion of assigned Corrective Action Requests.
• Daily assignment and verification of aisles/areas for cleanup and 5S.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform Safety Observation Tour monthly.
• Perform disciplinary action as necessary to hold employees accountable.
• Maintain timely employee records concerning attendance and production performance.
• Perform effective shift handoff to include status of radios, harnesses, forklifts, scanners, overtime plans (stay late/arrive early assignments & report times that impact the next shift).
• Oversee packaging of engine overhaul kits per customer & production order requirements. Coordinate picking and shipment of bulk components and packaging items as necessary.
• Daily reporting of metrics on local SFM boards & daily operations meeting board. Implement actions to achieve department KPI’s. Implement new ideas and processes to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma. Some college classes in business or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions, and to work within assigned deadlines with a high attention to detail
• Must have excellent attendance/safety record
• Intermediate computer skills, especially in MS Office
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment required in department is preferred.
