Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin, seeks a Service Operator to manage Level 1 issues in cloud operations across North American data centers. The role is full-time and on-site with optional travel.

You will monitor cluster servers, handle dispatch, and oversee asset management while delivering global incident response. A BA/BS in an IT-related field and 1–3 years in Hyper-V/VMware are required, plus Linux/Windows admin experience and basic networking.

Service Operator

LOCATION:Mt. Pleasant (Wisconsin)

CATEGORY: Exempt, Full-Time, 100% On-site.

JOB FUNCTION:

• Manage Level 1 issues in cloud operations in all data centers.
• Travel is optional depending on the situation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor cluster servers across all data centers in the North America region.
• Manage call center and dispatch.
• Asset management
• Global Level 1 incident support and response

EDUCATION:

• BA/BS in Information Management, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related fields are required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Hyper-V or VMware technology
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Linux systems and Windows systems, with a basic understanding of networking.
• Data center experience preferred.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid foundational knowledge of networking, including familiarity with the TCP/IP protocol stack.
• Understanding of VLAN and subnetting.
• Strong knowledge of system hardware, especially related to cluster servers.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Strong learning ability, communication and coordination skills, and a service-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing high-quality documentation and verbal communication.

LANGUAGE:

• Proficiency in English required; Mandarin is a plus.
