SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Service Operations Specialist to manage the service work pipeline, assist with RFQs and quoting, and ensure continuity during busy periods.

The role provides overflow support for service coordination and billing while helping drive recurring revenue through monitoring programs. The position emphasizes workflow efficiency, accuracy, and revenue capture across the service department, with opportunities for growth and involvement in process improvements.

• Build and manage the service work pipeline to prevent delays or missed opportunities.
• Provide overflow support to Service Coordinators during high-volume scheduling periods.
• Assist Service Billing Specialists with documentation and billing workflow as needed.
• Coordinate with Technical Operations Specialists to ensure quotes align with technical scope.
• Track service opportunities from RFQ through approval to ensure timely follow-up.
• Support continuous improvement of service processes and workflow efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

The Service Operations Specialist supports the service department by managing the service work pipeline, assisting with RFQs and quoting, and ensuring operational continuity during high-volume periods. This role provides overflow support for service coordination and billing while helping drive recurring revenue through monitoring programs and service offerings. The Service Operations Specialist plays a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency, accuracy, and revenue capture.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with intake and review of RFQs from technicians, sales teams, and service staff. Prepare and support service and monitoring-related quotes to ensure scope and pricing accuracy. Build and manage the service work pipeline to prevent delays or missed opportunities. Provide overflow support to Service Coordinators during high-volume scheduling periods. Assist Service Billing Specialists with documentation and billing workflow as needed. Coordinate with Technical Operations Specialists to ensure quotes align with technical scope. Track service opportunities from RFQ through approval to ensure timely follow-up. Support continuous improvement of service processes and workflow efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Minimum Years of Work Experience

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in service operations, coordination, quoting, or related environment.

Salary

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $28.65 to $37.21 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
