Job summary

Greenway Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Service Department leader to manage processes, drive revenue, and oversee budgeting to meet company objectives.

The role collaborates with the VP of Service Operations and the Marketing Manager to execute plans and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a service environment, basic mechanical knowledge, and experience with diagnostic tools such as Service ADVISOR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a service department; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge.
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR or similar diagnostic tools preferred.
• Experience leading, communicating, and working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting internal and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, enforces, and monitors service department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drives revenue, manages expenses, and generates profitability for the Service Department.
• Creates annual location service department goals and budget aligned with financial objectives.
• Executes service department marketing plan under VP guidance.
• Ensures warranty and Product Improvement Program claims are processed timely.
• Schedules and assigns jobs to service staff by skills and knowledge.
• Coordinates logistics to and from customers and suppliers for timely delivery and service.
• Reviews work orders for completeness before billing.
• Maintains safety protocols and a clean work area.
• Participates in safety meetings and supports safety tasks.
