Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Indiana is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service staff, support technicians, coordinate dispatch, and ensure customers have a positive experience from start to finish.

The role requires 3+ years of management, working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work after hours. We offer an employee-owned culture with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Must lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
Must crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead.
Must climb ladders and work on heights.
Must use hand and power tools.
High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of management experience.
Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC required.
Valid driver's license required.
Strong supervisory experience, communication and computer skills required.
Ability to work after regular business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the service staff, including hiring, evaluations, and assignments.
Coordinate maintenance, service, and indoor air quality activities for efficiency.
Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with the general manager on budgeting.
Generate reports on operations and track inventory, tools, and vehicles.
Review payroll to ensure accurate technician pay.
Communicate with dispatch to assign appropriate technicians.
Evaluate staff training needs.
Ensure vehicles are stocked and warranty parts are handled.
Perform other duties as assigned.
