The Service Mechanic performs preventative maintenance and general repairs on Ben E. Keith cars, vans, tractors, and trailers.

* Perform scheduled and routine maintenance on a wide range of equipment including: tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, forklifts, pallet jacks, cars, and vans * Provide on-site maintenance for branch locations that do not have fleet shops * Prioritize multiple, competing priorities * Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor * Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy * Ensure work area is organized, clean, and free of trash * Attend meetings as required * Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

* All applicants hired by Ben E. Keith Beverages are required by the State of Texas to obtain two TABC licenses * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments * Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment * Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail * Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities * Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations * Must be able to read and write English * Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply * Must have a valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record * Ability to learn and use relevant internal computer applications * Must able to lift 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
