Service Manager – Responsibilities

As a Service Manager, you’ll be a leader in a high-performance culture, guiding a team to deliver top-notch service to every customer. You’ll blend industry knowledge with interpersonal skills to earn customer trust, motivate the service team to consistently provide outstanding service, and drive efficiency through scheduling, routing and inventory monitoring.

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety.
• Conduct yourself with utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings.
• Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed courses of action, and outstanding empathetic customer service every time.
• Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.

Work Environment

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in different weather conditions.
