Job summary

Atlantic Forklift Services in Greer, South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead our service operations. You will manage technical service personnel, coordinate with the Operations Manager and leadership team, and drive revenue and profitability for the service and parts departments.

The role requires a 2- or 4-year business degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of technical material handling experience, and prior management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A 2- or 4-year business degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of technical experience in material handling or related equipment.
• Prior management experience.
• P&L and/or budget responsibility preferred.
• Strong computer skills with office software proficiency.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EH&S compliance within the service department by enforcing safe work habits.
• Lead the service team to achieve service revenue and profitability goals.
• Coach and manage performance with development plans for technicians.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and manage costs efficiently.
• Provide quality control to meet customer expectations and profitability.
• Assist customers and teams by routing questions and data in the job management system.
• Support quotes and proposals with technical input to reduce callbacks.
• Local travel to branches required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
