Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician, service advisor, or service manager.
• Strong technical acumen of automotive repair standards.
• Mentoring technicians is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess tire and automotive service needs with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Assists Store Manager in interviewing, selecting and training service technicians.
• Evaluate knowledge, skills and performance of technicians and participate in development decisions.
• Support store performance goals including service sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction and safety.
• Oversee daily work orders, time, tools, materials and equipment as needed.
• Provide technical expertise and support diagnosis for general and complex service requests.
• Lead training to ensure skill improvement for all technician levels.
• Ensure safety standards and proper operation of tools and equipment in shop.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and inventory management.
• Assist in analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly.
