TEC Equipment in Lexington, NE is seeking a Service Manager to lead a 35‑person service team and drive profitable operations of the Service Department. You will develop valued customer relationships, grow the business, and manage the team toward set goals in a fast‑paced environment with TEC values guiding decisions.

The role emphasizes leadership, cost control, and continuous improvement, with a focus on high‑quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation industry, repair shop, or dealership environment.
• Experience with CDK and ASIST.
• Prior experience with P&L management.
• Minimum five years’ successful management experience with proven history of achieving sales and business objectives.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills; ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of nearly 35 full‑service diesel technicians, supervisors, drivers, and service advisors, including workforce planning and development.
• Lead by example with high ethical and professional standards and TEC Core Values.
• Own profitability, risk management, and growth of Service department; forecast objectives and monitor expenses.
• Build and grow customer relationships, resolve complaints, and drive loyalty as Best Business Partner.
