Job summary

Arlington Properties in Cary, NC is seeking a Service Manager to lead the on-site maintenance team and oversee all aspects of apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.

You will ensure timely completion of service requests, prepare market-ready apartments, maintain logs and inventory, and coordinate with the Community Manager on budgeting and vendor relations while upholding safety and Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and respond to service needs efficiently.
• EPA or CFC certification required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions and physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities
