Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in an auto repair facility.
• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Proven leadership, team building and communication skills.
• Track record of exceeding customer expectations and financial projections.
• Organized with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and shop management systems.
• Willingness to travel to other locations and training.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors staff.
• Maintains reporting systems required by leadership and manufacturer.
• Manages warranty, receivables and service contracts tracking.
• Monitors department performance with reports and surveys.
• Develops staff through coaching and mentoring.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Schedules shop work for maximum productivity.
• Reviews and documents repair orders with time/cost estimates.
• Develops and implements marketing plans for new and repeat business.
• Facilitates training and sends employees to training schools as needed.
