Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise service technicians, dispatchers, and parts personnel.
• Maintain staffing and scheduling for 24/7 service response.
• Plan workloads and assign work efficiently.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development.
• Develop technical training programs for service technicians.
• Evaluate technician skills and identify training needs.
• Review service agreements to ensure inspections and requirements are completed.
• Review timesheets, shop time, callbacks, and follow-up items.
• Prepare customer proposals and time-and-material quotes.
• Order parts, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain truck stock and parts inventory, refrigerant records.
• Coordinate service schedules with other internal teams.
• Provide backup dispatching support when needed.
• Maintain regular customer contact to support satisfaction and retention.
• Assist with service agreement sales and other service department sales efforts.
• Ensure warranty parts are properly documented and returned.
• Maintain and enforce safe work procedures.
• Develop annual truck and tool purchasing plans.

HVAC Service Manager Location: Winchester, VA Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations in Winchester, Virginia. This position oversees dispatchers, parts personnel, and service technicians while ensuring the department can respond to customer needs 24/7.
