Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Service Manager to oversee all Front of House daily operations and staff, ensuring Legendary Food and Legendary Service for guests. This role focuses on driving sales, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety and liquor standards.

The Service Manager will lead FOH training, performance evaluations, and scheduling, while fostering a fun, safe environment that reinforces our core values and guest-centric goals.

Qualifications

• Front of House management experience.
• Ability to drive guest satisfaction and sales.
• Experience with staff training and performance evaluations.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and safety procedures.
• Experience hiring Front of House staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.

• Provide or direct Front of House training.
• Manage performance, coaching, and discipline of FOH employees.
• Manage liquor orders and control liquor costs.
• Enforce liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Develop key employees with daily feedback and one-on-ones.
• Review applications, interview, and hire Front of House staff.
• Direct work for employees: set hours, schedules and tasks.
• Create a fun, safe environment aligning with core values and incentives.
• Understand and practice safe food handling.

As a Service Manager, Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
• In conjunction with all management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times
• Providing or directing all Front of House training
• Managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
• Enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Assisting with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of Front of House employees.
• Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
• Creating a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
