Job summary

Austell, GA — ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, Inc is seeking an entry-level Service Department member to detail cranes, heavy-duty trucks, and perform general building and grounds maintenance. This full-time, non-exempt role includes a sign-on bonus of $100 after 100 days of employment.

The position involves yard maintenance, loading/unloading, inventorying rigging, and operating hand/power tools while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable MVR.
• Strong initiative; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with temperature/humidity changes.
• Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Miscellaneous tasks around the yard: maintenance and clean-up of equipment, buildings and area; parts inventory; small assembly and repairs.
• Assist in loading/unloading cranes, crane components, and vendor deliveries.
• Inventorying and organizing rigging, shackles, blocks and other lifting components.
• Maintain yard forklifts' housekeeping and appearance.
• Ensure blocking and timbers are stacked and maintained in designated area.
• Inventory and organize the yard to maximize efficiency and storage capacity.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and use various equipment.
• Adhere to safety requirements and regulations.

Position Summary

ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, Inc is seeking a motivated individual to work with us as a member of the Service Department responsible for detailing Cranes, Heavy Duty Trucks, and providing general building and grounds maintenance. This is an entry level position to begin a career in the Crane Industry. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package. The position is eligible for a candidate sign-on bonus of $100 after 100 days of continuous employment.

Essential Functions

• Miscellaneous tasks around the yard: maintenance and clean-up of equipment, buildings and general area; parts inventory; small assembly and repairs
• Assist in loading/unloading cranes, crane components, and vendor deliveries
• Inventorying and organizing of rigging, shackles, blocks and other lifting related components
• Responsible for the housekeeping and appearance of yard forklifts
• Ensure all blocking and timbers are stacked and maintained in designated area
• Inventorying and organizing the yard to maximize efficiency and storage capacity
• Skill and knowledge in properly using hand and power tools
• Ability to precisely follow instructions.
• Safe operations of pool vehicles, forklifts and/or tele-handler
• Operate hand and power tools and a variety of other equipment and instruments
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
• Other duties as assigned
