Responsibilities

• Identify open service bays needing units staged.
• Request technician approval to stage a unit.
• Use lineup board to identify next major unit.
• Review repair order to confirm customer requirements.
• Begin courtesy inspection before staging to avoid exhaust fumes.
• Stage major unit on lift or in bay.
• Stage all parts with a unit including the RO.
• Ensure tasks are completed with a technician.
• Mount and install tires and wheels when needed.
• Keep parts staging area organized.
• Review repair order to verify completion.
• Perform quality control on all completed major units.
• Wash and wax each unit to restore cleanliness.
• Ensure each unit is cleaner than arrival.
• Pay special attention to areas customers will see.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifyanyopenservicebaythatmayneedunits staged.
• Requestapprovalfromtechniciantostageunittoensuretheareahasnotbeen reserved for other purposes.
• Reference“lineupboard”toidentifythenextmajorunittobeworkedon bytechnician.
• Reviewthe repairordertoidentifytheextentofjobsthathavebeenrequestedby the customer.
• Begincourtesyinspection(detailed below) prior to staging a unit as to not produce exhaust fumes in the shop.
• Stagemajor unit on lift or in bay.
• Stageany and all partswitha unit including the RO.
• Ensureall tasksare properly completedwitha technician.
• Mount and install tires and wheels when needed.
• Maintainorganizationin partsstaging area.

Courtesy Inspections:

• Perform courtesyinspectionon all major unitschecked intoservice.
• Noteanyirregularitiesbeforethe technician begins work.

Quality Control:

• Reviewrepairorderto verifycompletionof requested jobs.
• Complete qualitycontrol check on allcompletedmajor units
• Clean eachcompletedunitusingwash-and-waxsprayandmicrofiber towel.
• Ensureeach unitiscleanerthanwhenit arrived.
• Payspecial attentiontoallareasthat acustomerwillseewhileoperatingthe unit.
• Anyotherdutiesas assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experienceworkingat a powersports dealership.
• Strongknowledgeof powersports vehicles, parts, and accessories.
• FamiliaritywiththeLightspeedcomputersystemorsimilarinventory management software preferred.
• Excellentorganizationalandproblem-solving skills.
• Effectivecommunicationandleadership abilities.
• Detail-orientedwithafocusonaccuracyand efficiency.
• Must be able to lift a minimumweight of 50 LBS.
• Mustbeateam player.

Requirements:

• Current valid driver’s license.
• Cleandrivingrecord,no blemishes.
• Experiencedriving bothmanualandautomaticvehicles.
