Job summary

Moms73 in Northern Kentucky is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and watercraft. You will use diagnostic tools, perform routine maintenance, document concerns and repairs, and work with the Service Manager to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver’s License (motorcycle endorsement preferred).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues with precision.
  • Perform manufacturer-recommended routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacement, brake servicing, and valve adjustments.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on customer and trade-in vehicles and install aftermarket accessories.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine and fuel injection issues.
  • Utilize Lightspeed Dealer Management Software to clock in/out and thoroughly document concern, cause, and correction.
  • Communicate professionally with the Service Manager/Advisor to ensure jobs are done right the first time.
  • Follow all safety procedures and assist in keeping the service area clean and organized.
  • Attend off-site manufacturer training sessions to stay current with repair techniques (travel may be required).

Job description

A Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. This position requires mechanical and electrical expertise and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities
