Job summary

Exceptional Dental is seeking a Sales Lot Tech to keep vehicles showroom-ready and support the sales and service teams at our Vermont dealership. The role involves cleaning interiors and exteriors, maintaining tools, and performing general duties to ensure a pristine lot and efficient operations.

You will coordinate with management and help close out the shop at day’s end. The ideal candidate is hardworking, loves powersports equipment, and demonstrates strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Experience in powersports or related field preferred.

• Must be 18 years or older; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles to dealership specs.
• Maintain tools and equipment; follow safety practices.
• Keep dealership clean; empty trash and general housekeeping.
• Assist management and staff as needed; close out shop at end of day.
• Operate trailers and forklifts safely; support sales and service teams.

Job description

A Sales Lot Tech is essential to maintaining a well-organized dealership, keeping vehicles spotless and showroom-ready while supporting both the sales and service teams. Ideal candidates are hardworking, passionate about powersports equipment, and take pride in creating an outstanding first impression for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles by washing, polishing, cleaning and vacuuming to adhere to dealership specifications.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment when performing details and correctly follow safety practices.
• Empty garbage throughout the dealership and perform general clean up duties.
• Check in regularly with management to see if they need any assistance.
• Keep the lot clean and maintain the sidewalks ensuring that they are clean, and debris free and ice melt is laid down in the winter (if applicable).
• Pull vehicles in at the end of the day and assist in closing out of the shop, as well as any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a lot Attendant in the Powersports industry or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, parts, and accessories.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and great interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs.
• Be physically fit and able to bend, twist and pull.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Proficient in the operation of trailers for vehicle hauling, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.
• Proficient in the operation of a forklift (certification preferred).
