Job summary

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a Service Line Electrician to support Fort Carson’s electric distribution system, including streetlights and emergency response. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain lines on-site daily, working under safety-first guidelines.

The role requires a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to climb poles. CDL preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a journey or Master Electrician.
• Must have valid driver's license; CDL preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electric distribution service lines.
• Work on streetlight, emergency response, maintenance, and repair programs.
• Handle voltages up to 480V across residential, commercial, arterial, and street lighting systems.
• Respond to service requests and reestablish service efficiently.
• Use appropriate safety practices per standards and policies.
