Job summary

Berman Star Nissan in Niles, IL is seeking a Service Lane Manager to join our team. You will oversee daily service department operations, lead and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff to deliver 100% customer satisfaction and sustained revenue growth.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of automotive service profitability. Compensation is $125,000 annually (commission-based), with competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a Dealership Service Advisor; preferred Service Lane Manager experience.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and train team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of automotive service operations and profitability strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention.
• Train and mentor team members to improve performance and service quality.
• Ensure all service work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations.

Location: Niles, IL

Pay: $125,000/ annually (Commission Role - Total Shop GP, ROs, CSI + ELR)

You will help plan, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service advisors, service technicians, and support staff to promote 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives.
