Job summary

McCardel Culligan in Michigan is seeking a Service & Installation Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water-treatment systems. You'll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help customers get the most from their systems, while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, construction, maintenance, or related mechanical field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility.

Position Overview

As a Service & Installation Technician, you'll install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment. Every day brings a new challenge as you diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help customers get the most from their water treatment systems.

This role combines hands-on technical work with customer service, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and making a positive impact in customers' homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair Culligan water treatment equipment.


• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical or operational issues.
