Job summary

Porsche Bethesda, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking a Service Greeter/Porter to help manage service customer vehicles and traffic flow at our Bethesda location. You will greet customers, record vehicle details, and assist with parking, loaners, and pickup while maintaining a clean, safe service drive and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude and directs them to the appropriate person
• Records customer information, such as name, VIN, tag number, mileage and vehicle damage (walk around)
• Controls service traffic flow, parking and assists with loaner vehicles as needed
• Parks vehicles after they have been written up and retrieves them for pickup
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed
• Installs disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and I.D. tags in serviced vehicles
• Delivers keys and repair order copies to the Service Advisor after parking
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area
• Maintains a professional appearance and follows safety policies
