Job summary

Paycom - ATS in New York seeks a friendly, detail-oriented dealership support agent to greet customers as they enter and guide them to the appropriate service advisor. You’ll perform opening tasks, move vehicles, check inventory and maintain a clean service drive and lounge.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to operate a smartphone/tablet or PC. Regular full-time shifts include early morning and evening coverage with rotation every four weeks.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.

• Capability to operate a smartphone, tablet and/or PC.
• Ability to greet customers promptly and direct them to the appropriate staff.
• Experience in a dealership or customer-facing role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the dealership and direct them to the right department.
• Perform opening tasks before opening (inventory checks, unlock doors, etc.).
• Move vehicles as needed between service areas and parking.
• Monitor customer return times and prep cars for pickup.
• Wash vehicles or wipe them down when requested.
• Document loaner mileage and report any damage.
• Park loaners in customer parking and maintain service drive cleanliness.
• Inspect the customer lounge and restock amenities.
• File repair orders and road-test vehicles when required.

Occupational Summary:Responsible for immediately greeting customers as they enter into the dealership and directing them to the appropriate department, as well as ensuring an overall exceptional customer service experienceSchedule: Full-time : 2 shifts available- A full-time, 3-day shift, 7:30am until 9:00pm, that rotates every 4 weeks.Mon/Tues/Wed for 4 weeks, then Thurs/Fri/Sat for 4 weeks)- A full-time, 5 day shift Monday - FridayEssential Job Functions:Perform prior-to-opening tasks in a timely manner, which includes checking early bird box, moving vehicles, checking/filling inventory levels of supplies, unlocking doors, etc.Immediately greeting all customers and directing them to the appropriate service advisor or team memberLocating pre-written repair order and confirming information with the customerMoving vehicles where needed (example: moving car out of service drive into service parking after customer has dropped car off)Monitor customer return times and proactively retrieve cars so that they are waiting for them in the service drive, ready to go.Washing vehicles and/or wiping them down as requested and neededWhen loaner cars are returned; document all incoming mileage and walk around vehicle. Report any damage and the overall condition of loaner to TSMA.
