Job summary

Accelera is seeking an experienced roofing service professional to lead a small crew (1-2) in troubleshooting, repairing leaks, and inspecting commercial roofs. This hands-on role emphasizes field work over production installations and offers room for growth within a national roofing company.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial roofing service experience, can diagnose issues, and lead a crew with a focus on safety and customer communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing service experience.
• Ability to locate and repair roof leaks independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong safety awareness and OSHA knowledge.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small crew preferred.

Responsibilities

• Find and repair leaks on commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, and related systems.
• Lead and work alongside 1-2 service crew members.
• Inspect roofs, document conditions, take photos, and develop repair scopes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with building owners, facility managers, and internal teams.
• Use mobile service applications to document inspections and completed repairs.
• Identify additional service or repair needs when you see them.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response as needed.
• Work safely and follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.

Compensation: $32 per hour, based on experience

Know commercial roofing? Prefer fixing problems over running production jobs? This could be a great fit.

We are looking for an experienced roofing service professional who knows how to find leaks, make solid repairs, and take care of customers. You will lead a small service crew (typically 1-2 people), but this is a hands-on role - not a desk job. You will be joining a large, established national roofing company with room to grow. As we continue adding service crews to this division, strong performers will have opportunities to take on more responsibility and move up. We need someone who can look at a roof, figure out what is going on, and get the work done right.

Focus on troubleshooting, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections - not large production installs. You will still work outdoors, but service work typically means less time exposed to extreme heat or cold than full-day production roofing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• At least 3 years of commercial roofing service experience, including repairs and diagnostics.
• Ability to locate and repair roof leaks independently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong safety awareness and working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Comfort using a mobile device for photos, inspections, and service reporting.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt when the day changes.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small crew is preferred.
