Powersports Service Expeditor / AdvisorThe Anderson Powersports Service Expeditor / Advisor, in Reno NV, coordinates the service process from customer check-in through final delivery. This position communicates with customers, technicians, and the Parts Department to ensure repair orders are accurate, parts are available, repairs stay on schedule, and customers receive timely updates.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers, identify service needs, and write accurate repair orders.Provide estimates, explain recommended repairs, and obtain customer approvals.Monitor repair orders and coordinate workflow between technicians and Parts.Track and expedite parts, backorders, and delays to keep units moving.Communicate repair status, changes, and completion times to customers.Coordinate warranty, recall, maintenance, and accessory-related work as needed.Review completed repairs with customers and coordinate unit pickup.Maintain accurate documentation and deliver professional, customer-focused experience.Ideal Candidate: Organized, proactive, mechanically inclined, and customer-focused, with strong communication, follow-through, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced powersports dealership environment.Knowledge RequirementsBasic knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports products.Understanding of common maintenance, repairs, and service terminology.Knowledge of parts ordering, availability, and inventory processes.Understanding repair orders, estimates, labor, and parts pricing.Familiarity with warranty, recall, and manufacturer procedures.Knowledge of dealership service department workflow.Basic understanding of service scheduling and technician productivity.Familiarity with dealership management systems and parts/service software.Understanding of customer service and effective communication practices.Anderson Powersports in Reno, NV is looking for a customer-focused, experienced Powersports Service Advisor to work with our amazing Service Team.
