Job summary

Pelletron, part of PiovanGroup North America, is the global leading supplier for dust removal systems for plastic processors and plastics manufacturers. The Service Engineer will perform start-up and technical service of Pelletron’s pneumatic conveying and dedusting equipment, reporting to the Director of Process Engineering in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities include creating P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams, supporting Process Engineering with AutoCAD Plant 3D models, and providing on-site or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in engineered systems, preferably pneumatic conveying.
• Experience using AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D software.
• Ability to read and develop purchase orders, contracts and blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with vendors and customers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide start-up and commissioning services for projects.
• Travel to vendor and customer locations domestically and internationally.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy before start-up.
• Create start-up plans and documentation with project support.
• Prepare written reports detailing service activities.
• Support Process Engineering with AutoCAD Plant 3D models and drawings.
• Assist in sizing and selection of equipment per project specs.
• Resolve customer queries and warranty claims cost-effectively.
• Provide Sales support as required.
