Coperion is seeking a Project Engineer in the United States to lead the technical execution of pneumatic conveying, material handling, and dust collection projects from order receipt through commissioning and closeout. You will coordinate with customers, vendors, manufacturing, automation, and installation teams to deliver turnkey systems valued from $500K to $2M.

You will mentor design engineers, manage drawings and documents, monitor schedules, identify risks, and support startup activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with pneumatic conveying and process systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret PFDs and P&IDs.
• Willingness to travel 20–35%.

Aufgaben

• Execute projects from order receipt through design, approval, manufacturing, delivery, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate activities with project managers, customers, vendors, manufacturing, automation, and installation teams.
• Serve as primary/secondary customer contact during project execution.
• Develop PFDs with equipment tagging and process information.
• Create and maintain P&IDs.
• Review and specify OEM equipment and vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain drawings and technical documentation.
• Generate preliminary equipment stack-up and detailed layout drawings.
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain project drawing packages and document control.
• Monitor deliverables and provide schedule updates.
• Identify risks and coordinate with teams for resolution.
• Support installation subcontract documentation and field activities.
• Participate in customer design reviews and change orders.
• Conduct site visits, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
