Job summary

Hartwig, Inc. is hiring a Preventive Maintenance Service Technician to keep CNC machine tools running at peak performance in the Denver, CO area. The role supports the Midwest Region and offers training and development opportunities within a growing team.

The ideal candidate has mechanical and electrical aptitude, relevant preventive maintenance or repair experience, and a valid driver's license. Travel to customer sites is expected, with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Above average mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience in mechanical or preventive work, inspection and/or repair.
• Willing to work in dirty or hot/cold environments.
• Good driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machine tools, including changing fluids and filters and checking calibration accuracy.
• Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes.
• Train and instruct customers on preventive maintenance best practices and Hartwig services.
• Schedule preventive maintenance customer visits.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Complete tasks in service software and timecard system daily.
• Travel to customer sites, usually within 2 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel.

Job description

Preventive Maintenance Service Technician contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the Hartwig team to repair and inspect their equipment to prevent expensive machine failures from occurring.

This position supports our Midwest Region. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical maintenance experience who wants to learn about CNC machines.

Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in the Denver, CO area include:

• Conducting efficient and timely preventive maintenance on CNC machine tools, including changing fluids, filters and checking accuracy of calibrations.
• Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes.
• Training and instructing customers on preventive maintenance best practices and Hartwig services.
• Scheduling preventive maintenance customer visits

• Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system daily.

Individuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications:

• Above average mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Relevant mechanical or preventive work experience, inspection and/or repair experience
• Someone who doesn't mind getting dirty or working in hot/cold environments.
• Good driving record and valid driver's license to ensure fleet vehicle insurability
