Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments and document work clearly.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in on-call, flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center and server infrastructure, including next-generation AI platforms. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role responsible for maintaining server uptime, troubleshooting hardware issues, and performing on-site maintenance. Previous AI platform experience is not required; candidates with strong enterprise server and data center experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for enterprise server and data center hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and operating system issues.
• Perform server builds, deployments, hardware replacements, and firmware upgrades.
• Replace server components including CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and complete server systems.

• Follow documented Plans of Action (POA) and escalation procedures.
• Document all work accurately and in real time.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers throughout service activities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional off-shift support.
• Attend required weekly project touchpoint calls.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience supporting enterprise servers, field service, or data center environments.
• Hands-on experience with server hardware, including:

  • Memory replacement
  • Power supplies

  • Complete server builds and replacements
• Experience with server deployments and hardware swaps.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience documenting technical work and service activities.
• Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and flexible work schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with water-cooled server systems.
• Dell or other server hardware certifications.
• Experience building PCs.
• Continuous learning mindset with knowledge of current server technologies.
• Previous experience supporting AI infrastructure is a plus but not required.
