Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a field service technician to service and repair office machines on-site and in the shop. You will diagnose electronic and network issues, perform repairs, and maintain accurate documentation.

You will travel within the assigned territory, promote maintenance agreements, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires a technical degree preference, A+ certification, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60 pounds as needed; use of cart for heavier items.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and support: troubleshoot issues on-site or in-shop for electronic, mechanical, software, or copy quality problems and perform repairs.
• Diagnose network connectivity problems and provide appropriate support or consultation.
• Maintain proper response times and manage territory to service customer needs efficiently.
• Identify and train key operators at installations and report operator information to dispatch.
• Prepare accurate work orders, obtain customer signatures, and submit after service calls.

Responsible for effectively and efficiently servicing office machines, maintaining good customer relations, and proper and timely completion of documentation.Primary Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesREPAIR/SUPPORT:Effectively troubleshoot customers concerns on-site or in shop for electronic, mechanical, software, or copy quality problems and make appropriate repairs.Diagnose machine network connectivity problems and provide appropriate support or consultation.Maintain proper response time.Manage assigned territory to properly service customers' needs in a time efficient manner.Identify and train key operators at all digital/analog machine installations. Report key operator information to dispatch.CUSTOMER RELATIONS:Listen to and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.Immediately report any customer concerns that have not been resolved to the customer's satisfaction to the Service Manager.DOCUMENTATION:Prepare accurate and complete work orders and secure customer's signature on billable calls.Submit work orders after the completion of every service call.
