Job summary

MP Systems is an OEM manufacturer of accessories for the CNC industry, offering a role as a Service Engineer responsible for installing, testing and supporting equipment in the field. You will collaborate with customers to gather data, design improvements, and ensure seamless field service across automotive, aerospace and firearm sectors.

The position requires frequent travel, hands-on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic system work, and active communication with customers to improve products

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Customer service and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
  • They should be able to diagnose failures and identify root causes.
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates should also possess the ability to understand drawings and schematics.

Summary of Responsibility:

The Service Engineer will develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will learn the basics of the business and be responsible for designing, producing, testing, troubleshooting, and installing our equipment. The Service Engineer will communicate directly with customers to gather data directly from the field to continuously improve our products and our customers’ experience.

  • Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
