Job summary

Sterling Engineering is seeking a Product Service Engineer to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in advanced cooling systems used in medical and technology applications.

You will work directly with customers, partners with engineering and service providers, and support on-site installations and commissioning. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ERP experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 1–3 years engineering experience; HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, or industrial equipment a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and standard business software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues involving refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, fluid, and control systems.
• Respond to customer service requests by phone, email, and remote monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers to resolve equipment issues in the field.
• Support on-site troubleshooting and commissioning activities when needed.
• Coordinate replacement parts and service logistics to minimize equipment downtime.
• Prepare service reports and communicate project status to customers and internal teams.
• Escalate critical issues and collaborate with engineering to drive long-term product improvements.
• Provide technical training and support to customers, service partners, and internal teams.
• Assist with project planning and startup activities to ensure successful equipment installation and operation.
