Job summary

Rogers Electric, an established electrical contractor in Illinois, is seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our field team. You will perform essential electrical tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support service upgrades for our retail clients.

Candidates should have 5+ years of service/maintenance experience, be able to read blueprints, and install electrical systems. A valid driver’s license and basic hand tools are required. Travel, night/weekend overtime may be required.

We're searching for a talented and driven Service Electrician to join our team!

Your Day-to-Day

• Manage the completion of various electrical tasks


• Troubleshooting electrical issues


• Electrical break and repair


• Read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices


• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting


• Manage service upgrades for our new and existing retail clients


• Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance department personnel

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• 5+ years previous service/maintenance experience


• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems


• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects


• Ability to ascend/descend ladders


• Good computer skills


• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools


• Must hold a valid driver’s license


• Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime


• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
