Job summary

Rogers Electric in San Diego, CA seeks a Service Electrician with 5+ years of service/maintenance experience to join our team. You will troubleshoot, install, and upfit electrical systems, reading blueprints and wiring devices while coordinating with store facilities managers and maintenance staff.

Role requires travel, night/weekend overtime, and strict safety adherence. We offer competitive weekly pay plus a $4/hour night shift differential, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service/maintenance experience in electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and install electrical systems.

We’re searching for a talented and driven Service Electrician to join our team!

Your Day-to-Day:

• Manage the completion of various electrical tasks
• Troubleshooting electrical issues
• Electrical break and repair
• Read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting
• Manage service upgrades for our new and existing retail clients
• Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance department personnel

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years previous service/maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
