Job summary

My Plumber Plus is seeking an experienced electrician for a 100% commission-based role. The position offers uncapped earning potential, with top performers earning $100,000–$200,000 annually and steady, year-round customer demand.

You will install and upgrade electrical systems, perform rewires, install lighting, generators, EV chargers, and more, while delivering safe, code-compliant workmanship and stellar customer service.

Qualifications

• Four years of residential electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable presenting options and recommending appropriate solutions to homeowners.
• Willingness to work in a performance-based compensation environment.
• Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.
• Professional appearance and respect for customers and their homes.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installing and replacing electrical panels, circuit breakers, and service upgrades.
• Performing full home and commercial rewires, including removal of outdated wiring.
• Installing surge protection devices for electrical systems.
• Setting up indoor and outdoor lighting systems (recessed, security, landscape).
• Wiring and installing pool and hot tub electrical systems with proper grounding.
• Installing and replacing switches, outlets, dimmers, and GFCI/AFCI devices.
• Installing standby and portable generators and configuring ATS for backup power.
• Performing load calculations and ensuring proper electrical integration with main panels.
• Generator start-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Installing EV chargers for residential and commercial customers.
• Setting up washer/dryer electrical hookups with proper circuit configuration.
• Replacing ceiling fans and ensuring proper wiring and mounting.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in homes and businesses.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Wiring and configuring automatic transfer switches (ATS) to ensure seamless backup power operation.
• Performing load calculations and ensure proper electrical integration with main service panels.
• Conducting generator start-up, testing, and troubleshooting to verify system performance.
• Installing EV chargers for residential and commercial customers.
• Setting up washer and dryer electrical hook-ups, ensuring proper circuit configuration.
• Installing and replace ceiling fans with appropriate wiring and mounting.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in homes and businesses.

What we're looking For:
