Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Greenville, SC seeks a full-time Service Electrical Helper to support electricians on commercial installations.

The role involves handling materials, mounting and wiring, and assisting with wire pulls, while adhering to safety policies and company standards. This position requires at least 1 year of commercial electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent commercial electrical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electricians with tasks and material handling.
• Mount and install conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assist in wire pulls and related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Competent use of tools, ladders and lifts for electrical installations.
• Maintain safe work practices and professional conduct.
• Travel may be required.
