Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Greenville, SC seeks a full-time Service Electrical Helper to support electricians on installations and maintenance projects.

The role involves mounting and routing conduit, wires, and straps, assisting with wire pulls, and following safety policies. Travel may be required, and candidates should be able to pass background checks.

Onsite work with ladders and lifts is common; adherence to safety standards and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent commercial electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Competent utilization of various tools, ladders and lifts required for electrical installations
• Maintains safe work practices and professional appearance/conduct at all times.
• Travel may be required.
