IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians by performing various tasks and material handling, mounting and installing conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.

Travel may be required; safety policies must be followed. The role requires 3–4 years of recent commercial electrical field experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain), and successful completion of

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.
